The basic steps of the Pedal Commander® installation are always the same regardless of the vehicle's make and model:

Turn off the ignition and wait 10-15 minutes with your driver's door open to allow your ECU to shut down.

Disconnect your accelerator pedal assembly plug, then plug in the heads to connectors on the Pedal Commander® harness.

Clean up the area where you want to mount the control unit with the alcohol wipe. Stick the bracket with the supplied velcro.

After you make sure the cables are secure and won't be tangled, you are ready to enjoy Pedal Commander®.

The install of the PC was super easy. I was totally blown away the first time that I drove my Avalanche after the install. All of the throttle lag that I have just settled with over the years was instantly gone. I now drive it daily in the city +4 mode, or sport +2 depending on how I’m feeling. The real kicker is the sport plus mode at +4! I tested this level just to test its capabilities, and upon pressing the pedal, there was immediate response that put me back into my seat! I've had an annoying hesitation in my 2013 Avalanche since new - it's actually a safety concern since sometimes the hesitation strikes right when you need instant response to pull out of the way of traffic.
